The new rocker design of the midsole further improves the running economy of the Adios Pro 4. Adidas has incorporated two layers of super-light Lightstrike Pro foam for maximum cushioning with every step. In addition, the material reduces energy loss by absorbing a portion of the energy expended during running and returning it to you in a compressed form. Another plus: Lightstrike Pro helps your muscles recover faster, which is particularly beneficial when the breaks between two competitions are short.
For non-slip grip on the road, the optimized outsole of the Adios Pro 4 made from Continental™ rubber ensures performance. Here, adidas has identified pressure-mapping data to determine targeted grip zones and thus reduced the weight and thickness of the sole. Because every gram counts, especially on long distances! The Lightlock upper offers an excellent balance of comfort and performance. AWoven from textile and synthetic fibers, the stretch material smoothly hugs your foot and adapts optimally to its shape.
